Unconventional playdates are making the rounds in Bengaluru. Founder of Nailbox, Sneha Bhagwat has introduced a ‘Princess Menu’ which comprises a mani-pedi combo for children below the age of 13. Another playdate included children playing in a salt studio surrounded by 5,000 kg of Himalayan salt. Mita Vinay, the owner of Bodhsara Wellness and Salt Studio, got the idea from Russia, where a salt-filled room has been shown to help people heal from a variety of illnesses. Playing in salt, whether for a cold or a cough, releases mucus and makes one feel better, according to the concept. Children who arrived with dry skin and blocked noses saw immediate results and appeared healthier after this 40-minute session.
