Renowned educator and founder IHB Education Sri Lanka, Nayana Karunaratne recently posted a video on Facebook about the health and safety measures IHB has recommended for their hair and beauty industry. Nayana, who is also the owner of Salon Nayana said “Our country is getting back to normal pretty soon and we intend to implement these safety measures in all the salons and to all the staff so that we can offer better services in future as we work very closely with our clients. We are happy to share that, the safety measures we have prepared, have been approved by the authorities in our country.” The IHB recommendations cover sanitisation standards, safety measures, client engagement etc.
