The Karnataka government has permitted the reopening of parlours, salons, barbershops, and spas in the state. These establishments have been issued as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) by the state government, which needs to be strictly followed. The SOP has been published by the Department of Health and Family Welfare. As per the SOP, people having a cold, cough, fever, and throat pain must not be allowed on the premises. Mask is mandatory for all the staff members as well as clients. Further, the staff must also wear the head covers, and aprons at all times. The SOP states that all equipment used should be sanitized after each use with 7% Lysol for 30 minutes.
