L’Oreal Paris has pledged to curb its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and convert to lightweight and sustainable packaging. The company plans to make all its 26 plants carbon neutral by 2025, in addition to the 11 factories that are already green. L’Oreal Paris is also working with its entire supply chain of transporters and suppliers to reduce CO2 emissions. In fact, it is even educating consumers to cut down on their carbon footprint due to the use-phase of products. The brand is starting reusable and refillable packaging, as it accounted for 9% of its total CO2 emissions.
