Beauty and personal care brands like Mamaearth, SUGAR Cosmetics and Plum Goodness who have their presence online are now eyeing the offline market by trying to scale up their retail presence. These brands have plans to launch exclusive outlets along with general and modern trade stores. With a presence in 2,000 stores across 43 cities, Mamaearth is now expanding to 5000 stores over the next 18 months. Plum Goodness plans to grow its retail business fivefold in the next one year and is claiming to get 25 percent of its sales from the offline market.
